Tickets: $3 per adult. Ages 17 & under are FREE to attend.
Come out & enjoy a walking tour of historic downtown Mishawaka guided by Pete De Kever, historian laureate for the City of Mishawaka.
Historic sites discussed include landmarks such as:
- Will's Clock
- Phoenix Building
- Old U.S. Post Office
- First United Methodist Church.
- Former First National Bank building
- Buildings on St. Joseph Parish Square
The locations of historic events, such as the site of Robert Kennedy's 1968 campaign appearance, and buildings that have been lost, such as the Hotel Mishawaka and Tivoli Theater, will also be included.
The tour will begin at 7 p.m., October 20, near the Will's Clock and will last until approximately 8:15 p.m.
The tour will be entirely outdoors and will travel primarily on the four blocks adjacent to the the intersection of Main and Lincolnway.
