In September 2025, we opened Talking Horse Ice Cream Stand, the Mishawaka Riverwalk’s favorite walk up ice cream stand.
We are locally owned & operated and proud to serve local Crystal Springs Creamery ice cream!

THIC is conveniently located across from Central Park in Mishawaka, Indiana next to our gift shop InRugCo Studio & Gift Shop and Lola's Pastry, Bread, & Jam Bakery.
We offer ice cream, fruit smoothies, floats, shakes, sundaes, plus specialty items like our Campfire Roll.
Gluten-free options include mango & lemon Italian ice.

Soup of the Day
During cooler months, we are offering homemade soup, available to go in 16oz or 24 oz!
The soup comes with either a fresh bread roll or crackers. A fantastic lunch or dinner options. Our soup of the day is of a rotating variety.
Connection to Mr. Ed the Talking Horse:
The Rocky Lane is one of our signature sundaes at Talking Horse! This delicious sundae is named after Allan “Rocky” Lane aka the voice of Mr. Ed the talking horse, Mr. Lane grew up in the two-story side of our duplex. Hence the name of our ice cream shop!
We are famous for our signature Campfire Roll - a delectable hand rolled pastry cone that can be filled with a combination of ice cream, fresh fruit, whipped cream, or all three at one time!
