THE INSPIRATION

We wanted to create a design that highlighted our Indiana + Michigan community (Michiana). 

We loved the idea of using topographic lines within the two states as it implies map studying. Planning the next big adventure has always started with a map for me, so we thought the connection was perfect! 

We curled the text Michiana in the Lake Michigan pocket that touches both Indiana & Michigan. For the woods, we thought about the old-growth beech-maple forest at Warren Dunes State Park or the thick forest at Potato Creek State Park.

The Saint Joseph River was our main inspiration for the rivers, but the Dowagic, Galien, & Elkhart Ribers were also inspiration.

Lake Michigan, Chain O'Lakes State Park, & Boot Lake Preserve all contributed to our idea of the lakes of Michiana.

Orders are eligible for local delivery if the order total is a minimum of $20 & the ship to address falls within a 10 mile radius of our brick & mortar location. If your order meets that criteria, you will be offered local delivery as a shipping option.
