Sue Dix designs, creates, and finishes all of her handmade pottery in her Chicago suburban basement/pottery studio.

She uses white clay without grog, which gives her a smooth, light surface to draw and paint on. She rolls out clay on a wedging board to make handbuilt pieces like her trays.
